Privacy Policy
How Nuvho collects, uses, stores and protects personal information — across our website and the commercial services we deliver for hotels.
Last updated · 2 October 2026
Nuvho Holdings Pty Ltd (Nuvho) is committed to protecting the privacy of the people and businesses we work with. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use, store and disclose it, and the choices you have. It applies to nuvho.com and to the commercial services we deliver for hotels, together with our subsidiaries Nuvho Limited in Ireland and Nuvho Ltd in the United Kingdom.
1. What information we collect
Nuvho collects information you give us directly, and information generated when you use our website or our services. This may include your name, business name and role, email address, telephone number, postal or billing address, and the content of enquiries, proposals and correspondence.
Where you engage us for paid services, we also hold the billing and account details we need to invoice you and manage your account. We do not ask for sensitive information as it is defined by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. Why we collect it
We collect personal information so that we can respond to your enquiry, deliver the services you have engaged us for, manage accounts and billing, provide support, and keep you informed about our services where you have asked us to.
We also use it to meet our legal and contractual obligations, and to understand and improve how our website and services work.
3. How we collect it
Most information is collected directly from you — when you complete a form on our website, email or call us, meet us at an industry event, or work with us during a client engagement.
We may also receive personal information from third parties such as our clients, partners and suppliers, or from publicly available business sources. Information received this way is handled under this policy.
4. Website data and cookies
When you visit nuvho.com we may collect technical information such as your browser type, operating system, approximate location and the pages you visit. This is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
Necessary cookies keep the site working and are always on. With your consent we also use statistics cookies (Google Analytics, Hotjar and HubSpot) to understand how the site is used, and marketing cookies (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta and Mailchimp) to measure and improve our advertising. These are only set once you allow them in our cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the Cookies tab at the bottom of every page. Before you choose, Google's tags may send limited signals that use no cookies (Google Consent Mode). Cookies are small files that let a site recognise your browser and remember some details about your visit; they are not programs and they cannot damage your device. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
We use your approximate location, worked out from your IP address, to suggest the regional version of nuvho.com — Australia, the United Kingdom or Ireland — that best suits you. We never move you to another version automatically. If you choose a region, or close the suggestion, we remember that choice in a cookie called nuvho_region for 12 months. IP geolocation by DB-IP.
5. Links to other websites
Our website may link to sites we do not own or control. Those links are provided for your convenience and are not a sponsorship, endorsement or approval. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites, and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site that collects personal information from you.
6. How we disclose information
We may disclose personal information to our employees, contractors, professional advisers, insurers and service providers where it is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. Information is only supplied to a third party where it is required to deliver our services or to run our business.
We may also disclose personal information where we are required to by law — for example in response to a court order, warrant, subpoena, or a lawful request from a regulator or law enforcement agency — or to protect the legal rights, property or safety of Nuvho, our clients or others.
If there is a change of control of our business, or a sale or transfer of business assets, we may transfer user records together with the personal information they contain, to the extent permitted by law and under an agreement to maintain confidentiality. We do not sell personal information.
7. Storing and transferring information
Nuvho operates in Australia, Ireland, the United Kingdom and the Philippines, and uses cloud services that may store or process information outside the country in which it was collected.
Wherever information is held, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to a standard consistent with this policy and with the Australian Privacy Principles, the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the UK GDPR, as applicable. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or for as long as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it.
8. How we protect information
We use physical, electronic and managerial safeguards to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Access is limited to the people who need it to do their job.
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify the individuals affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, and the relevant supervisory authority where the EU or UK GDPR applies.
9. Accessing and correcting your information
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Email support@nuvho.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies to you, you may also have the right to erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. In the limited circumstances set out in the Privacy Act we may decline a request — if we do, we will tell you why.
10. Complaints about privacy
If you have a complaint about how we have handled your personal information, please email support@nuvho.com or write to us at Suite 1, 98 Fulcher Road, Redhill, Brisbane QLD 4059, Australia. We take complaints seriously and will acknowledge and respond to you in writing.
If you are not satisfied with our response you can refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in Australia, the Data Protection Commission in Ireland, or the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any change takes effect when the updated policy is published on this page, and the date of the most recent update is shown at the top. Please check back occasionally so that you are aware of any changes.
12. How to contact us
If you have questions about this policy, or about how we handle personal information, email support@nuvho.com or use the enquiry form on our Contact page.
